With the diffuser row settled, it was back to the racing. The weekend in China belongs to Sebastian Vettel, who took pole position, and then he followed it well deserved race victory, the first for Red Bull.
He also has the honour of being the only driver to score first race wins for both Red Bull and Toro Rosso, a record that will be very hard to beat. Perhaps he should join Force India, and get their first win as well!
As for the other teams, well they all did well to stay on the track. Grand Prix TV on Twitter did try to run a sweepstake on Massa oh how many times he would spin. They should have gone for Lewis Hamilton, as I’m sure he spun the most today in the wet.
The Fantasy Formula 1 Grand Prix results are now up, and they are final for a change. I didn’t do too well this week, got most of my predictions wrong. I had Brawn for 1st and Sebastian Vettel for 4th, and I lost out when Adrian Sutil lost it with 6 laps to go. That accident looks a lot worse than it did, glad to hear he is ok, shame they didn’t pick up 2 points.
The next race is less than a week away in Bahrain - see you there.
