However, no footie fan could have missed the £80 million transfer fee that Real Madrid offered Manchester United, which set a world record. I’ll leave the BBC to supply the details of the story.
Now that story made front page news of just about everywhere, including the BBC’s sports home pages. Now when something big makes the BBC’s sports home page, they usually have a set of images changing every 10 seconds, it’s a nice cool little touch.
What was amusing was the BBC’s choice of pictures for Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano has been wanting to goto Real Madrid for years, so you think the BBC would choose happy pictures of Ronaldo?
